★ ★ ★ ★ ★ NOT MTA MEMBER...Took my car there with powersteer problem.. 5 days later they tell me it's fixed and to come get it.. they said they installed a new second hand pump. Charged near 500.. Then on its second trip anywhere which happened to be woodend it packed u again. Took it back they again say it's ready. This time it didn't even make it home.. called again and the guy was not helpful. 5 days later I'm still waiting for a price for the rack which he told me is most likely the part which is broken. Mta signage in Google street view but is NOT a member..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had some trouble with these guys, only recently though went to them a year ago and they were fine. My guess is the new guy. I took my car in after I got told by them that it is okay if I repay them back over a week. So I was happy that I had a ride home after they finished (as I live 30km out of ChCh). But as the work was nearly done, I called up to see how long the car would be in there, as the guy didn't give me a time. He answered with 'when I'm finished'. So I called up at the end of the day close to four and asked if it's nearly done. He ended up saying i need to pay over $1000 if i wanted my car back. I get they are aloud to use your car as an incentive to pay but that wasn't what was agreed. I ended up having to try sort out another way home. Not happy. Also things that I asked to be done, didn't get done. Only a few things got written down. And I have a fresh new scratch of red paint across the back of my silver car. Thanks for that. You are not a valuable customer at this store. Not recommended anymore.
