★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wouldn't recommend this place, even for my enemy. If they find an issue during the WOF check you will get robbed in daylight if you asked them to fix it. More over, they try to keep fail your vehicle by addig more discreapancies if you fix it somewhere else. They can't diagnose the all the issues in first place. They add more discreapencies to time to time to your WOF Report.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One star is 100 percent too many. These rogues are after your money and are deceitful. Untrustworthy. We were in Christchurch from away and realised our warrant was a few days out so decided to get one at this place. They failed the warrant and said it needed bushes doing and headlights adjusted. Said It would cost $1370 - $1500. Raised a few red flags as we had a month before had the car checked over by our usual mechanic. This guy said he just happened to have time that same day to get it done.
When we declined having the work done by On The Go Eastgate, the guy got really, really grumpy.
We drove 250km home the next day and our own mechanic passed our car with flying colours. Not even a headlight needed adjusting. Avoid these bandits at all costs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They book me for a wof at lunch time. Not letting me know it's a holiday and won't be open. So I have driven from oxford for nothing. Waste of gas. Instead of telling me yes they can do it. The decent thing would be telling me they won't be open that day

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Charged me $80 to get my headlights re centred, when the were perfectly fine, and when also other places do this for free. They refused to tell me why they needed to be done and would not give me my keys back until I paid

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I took the car there for a warrant and oil change. They stripped the thread on the bung that goes into the sump and didn't tell me. They must have known what they had done because it couldn't be tightened. They took my money and sent me home driving a car with a leaking sump. They will never touch any of my vehicles again. I paid a real mechanic to rectify the damage.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Easy to book services over the phone, fast oil change. However ensure you get a price quoted before hand, normally an oil change is no more than $80 for my small hatchback, it cost me $120 here (called around and realised I could have gotten it done for my normal $80 at a nearby shop) feel like I might’ve gotten the “young female” price. They did a good job, but I probably wouldn’t recommend.
