★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pick your day , weather wise. Last part of the track to the lookout is steep. Would be slippery when wet. Great view of Kingston from the top.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Steep climb through beautiful beech forest, past waterfalls, then up challenging slippery slopes to a panoramic view of Kingston & Lake Wakatipu. Recommended for experienced hikers with good hiking boots ... not for day trippers in light shoes!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not very long walk but very very steep at the end. Make sure you keep to the left at the end as there's an other track going to the right. Worth it if it's a nice day and you're fairly fit. Not sure it's worth the effort otherwise.
