★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's been two years, and your still telling lies.....I'm disappointed. At least you said sorry. About time...by the way, I don't smoke...you need to learn to be more honest. Running the place down after taking ownership, is very sad. Anyways, never ever staying their again..what kind of owner, gives someone the wrong room key...what a joke. A shame to the Kumar name.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrible sleep due to two different,lumpy hard mattresses. No one at the front desk on checkout and breakfast we payed extra for didn’t arrive. Completely disappointed and will not recommend to anyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The new air con in the room is great. The only negative is the guests smoking on their balcony's sticking the place out. Management need to enforce the no smoking rule. The noise by guests early hours Saturday morning is a problem. Hopefully it is a one off.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unforgettable. Very thorough on checking vax pass with multiple signs to wear mask but receptionist doesn’t have a mask thats interesting. The room not sound proof at all. Had a room with balcony not that it’s very useable no table no umbrella. 1 tiny bag of coffee with 1 punnet of milk what a joke. Would highly recommend not to stay here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gentleman at reception was friendly and chatty. The interior of the building could do with some TLC - carpet torn on one of the stairs we had to use, the tap at the sink worked well but was completely loose and could be lifted right up to expose the pipes, the bathroom has a mobile wooden shelf right beneath the towel rails rendering the towel rail inaccessible. A few interior decorating blunders. The bed, linen and towels were spotlessly clean and the air-con provided a lovely cool room. The information folder in the room had some useful information and led us to a restaurant where we had the best curry ever. The lodge website offered a complimentary breakfast that turned out to be not so, and after bringing that to their attention in an e-mail, that advertising was removed. All in all, we got what we paid for and nothing that I've mentioned would put us off staying there again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect for our family of 4. Had a family room with a bunk set and very big bed for the adults. Had a bathroom in room but shared kitchen facilities which had all typical random bits and bobs of hostel kitchens. Room had weird louvre windows street side that didn't shut properly so let very cold air through. Heat pump was adequate for our April stay but I'd be worried about being too cold in winter.
