โ โ โ โ โ Hired my gear from here last Winter. Was just sitting in isolation dreaming of going back again when I remembered I hadn't given my review. Staff were great, the gear was great. Can't recall the staff member's name, but he talked me out of the style I had my mind set on and suggested something different for the conditions at the time. He was spot on. You also can't beat the convenience of the store to the airport, especially if you were like me and wanted to ski Wanaka as well.

โ โ โ โ โ Stopped in to pick up some rental poles and get our ski bindings adjusted. Super friendly and helpful staff, very knowledgable - showed us what they were doing so we could adjust them ourselves next time. Very reasonable prices. Glad we spotted this place on the way from the airport!

โ โ โ โ โ Awesome service from Oli at the Frankton store! I arrived half an hour before closing during the first week of school holidays and he took the time to remove the storage wax from five pairs of skis free of charge! Great start to our ski holiday - thank you!

โ โ โ โ โ Awesome service today, great gear. If your popping up from Southland for a days skiing / boarding I definitely recommend these guys..... saves you a trip into Queenstown and allows you to hit the slopes faster. 8am opening perfect ? and they are owner operators. Support locals.

โ โ โ โ โ WOW Ski Hire NZ Frankton have changed our ski lives for the better- I can not comprehend that I have previously paid double up on the mountain for way inferior equipment. To arrive at the Remarkables and see the winding lines to get equipment could have been soul destroying. instead we went to the store in Frankton and my kids were patiently and expertly fitted by Tom and Chloe- this time with boots that actually fitted them and way nicer skis. Best part is its right next to the airport so we can drop it off easily on the way to the flight home with out having to go through the mission of Queenstown with parking. This is a no brainer for ski equipment. As a side note as a snowboarder with my own board I was amazed by there board selection and next season will give a few alternate boards a ride.

โ โ โ โ โ Outstanding service. We were in the store multiple times this week due to many people coming and going in our ski party and every time the service was efficient and friendly and knowledgeable and made it an all around pleasurable experience. We booked online which speeded things up.
Prices are very reasonable and the gear we hired was perfect for what we needed.
We will be using Ski Hire Frankton every time from now on.
