โ โ โ โ โ Just after a bike rack to hire for a week. Seems like the rental person doesn't like people or have any idea of customer service. Ended up buying one in torpedo 7 shop next door. The salesman in the shop was great

โ โ โ โ โ Needed some boots. Range is good. Prices a little on the high side being a tourist area. But found some boots on sale. Sales staff ok, but didn't assist until I tried on the boots, repacked them and started walking them to the counter.

โ โ โ โ โ Absolutely unbelievable customer service from Eve today. What a super Star. Refreshing to know that there is still exceptional service like that from people out there. Thanks Eve for making our Christmas easier! It is so greatly appreciated.

โ โ โ โ โ Just went in for a brake service on my bike (needed new pads), simple job right? No, left the bike service area with my brake lever broken (the oil wouldn't go in I was told).
So instead of just needing the new pads (which I got it anyway) now I have to get a new lever too, and thing was the person who was doing the service made it sound like it was my fault, that it was broken prior the service (wth!) I was using the bike, just needed new pads ffs.

โ โ โ โ โ I hired an emtb to ride to the top of Ben Lomond and my second day a trance 29r to 7 mile. Jordan and the guys in the shop are absolute legends, I had the best experience and I would highly recommend anyone wanting to ride bikes to go to them. If I had more time in QT I would be going again. Also it's 110% worth hiring a emtb to climb skyline we were at the top in 20 min from the access road and they are still alot of fun on the way down. They have a massive range of bikes to choose from for all skill levels. If you are reading this go hire a bike and ride!

โ โ โ โ โ I took my bike in for a service on 25 February. I walked into the shop on 3 March I check if my bike was ready. I was told that it needed new parts which were on order. I gave it a week because I know there are lots of delays at the moment then rang on 11 March. I was then told it had been ready since 28 February and they already sent me a message to pick it up. I obviously had not received that message, and neither had the person who told me it still needed parts.
The receipt has my correct phone number - they just never sent the message - terrible communication, no follow up, and a large bill with no apology to top it off.

โ โ โ โ โ Workshop has great customer service. A lot of people get pulled off because Torpedo7 is a big chain but I have to say my experience with their workshops have always been great (both in Christchurch and here in Queenstown). I took my road bike for some small fixes, mechanics were super helpful and fair, quick service, communicated well and even though I thought I might need new break pads, they confirmed mine are still good for a few months. They don't try to oversell you anything. Thanks Dan and the Colombian guy I forgot the name, I will definitely be back.
