β β β β β The best thing that has happened to My Ruapehu in a long time. I've always spent my days up on this mountain wondering if my non boarding family can ever see the views I see while snowboarding. And this is the answer. Very well priced at $49 to get up. Very easy to hop on and off for all ages.

β β β β β This is a must do experience, astounding scenery. Warm friendly service. A yummy buffet. Did I mention the scenery... Get up close and personal with Ruapehu.. it will give you goose bumps. Where else can you eat a delicious lunch on a live volcano.MAGIC

β β β β β Beautiful mountains, fantastic hiking tracks up the mountain. Food and drinks options at the top are also available with spectacular panoramic views. They have all facilities youβll ever need. Friendly staff will go an extra mile for you.
We donβt do any winter sports and went there during Xmas holidays, so not sure what itβs like when it snows. However, friends who go there regularly like it a lot.
For an extra price you can grab a glass floor gondola for the full 360 experience.

Went up in summer to go do the walks. Quite pricey and so would say only go up if youβre going to do the walks up there and donβt want to do the hike up hill.
Would be nice if they did a one way so you could walk down if you wanted or vice Versa.

β β β β β Loved this experience! Such a one off, bucket list experience and you get to experience the mountain from an angle you never could otherwise! The restaurant that you finish at the end is amaazinly built and so pretty. I love ethr outdoor balcony as this is where you get a true sense of just how high you are! Only downside is that the last ride down the gondola is at 4pm.

β β β β β First time up the mountain in the summer And on a gondola not a chairlift. Great bits of kit these are with a great team of people Manning the station points. We loved it. SO different without snow AND such a glorious day we could see for miles!
