β β β β β Bridge to nowhere is a great spot and something good to do when in the Wanganui river, as it allows you to see the mighty Wanganui River. Enjoyed the expirence, jet boat ride could of been more action packed however does some great 360's and the views are like no other. The walk is very nice and easy, and the history is interesting. Canoing back down the river is good, team work is required. Overall a very good expirence and increadbile views and good service β

β β β β β Third time doing this hike and it is still beautiful. Would have loved to do the kayaking back option. Jet boat was awesome when the guide did spins. Beautiful, isolated, remote location, one off experience.

β β β β β Historic landmark that is is located in the middle of... nowhere! :D The walk from the river is a short 40min one way not too steep with several toilets on the way. The history behind it is pretty captivating. Worth also the stop to feed eels down the river under the bridge. There are two ways to see the bridge: the main one where you walk on it and the second is a lookout view (drone/aerial viewpoint)!

β β β β β Spectacular views along the 33 km trail to get to the bridge. First 6 odd k is uphill. After that flat or downhill. Some incredible views of valleys, and mountains along the way. And you get a 30 minute jet boat ride at the finish. Recommended
