★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice space, good food. Service is a bit lacking at the bar/lounge/restaurant (I had to chase someone down to even close my bill). Also the internet drops down to sub 1 mbps fairly regularly. I get that high usage impacts speeds, but for $400 a night you can probably upgrade your connection...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We enjoyed our stay here for 3 nights. Clean and spacious room, comfy bed & pillows. Friendly staff, they always greet you whenever you pass by. Sofitel made our Anniversary extra special. My better half and I appreciate your efforts, Merci beaucoup! Will stay here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were really disappointed with our room. The tv is on a side wall so are unable to watch it while lying on the bed. Only one chair provided in the room , very bad planning. For a 5 star hotel this is very disappointing. When paying our bill I noticed that we had not been charged for our dinner in the restaurant. I pointed this out to the lady on the desk expecting this to be rectified. We had to sit down with someone and go through all the paperwork. This took about 15 mins which should not be occurring in a 5 star hotel. On a positive note we enjoyed our meal and the staff were lovely. This was to be a special night for my birthday. I will not be recommending this hotel .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very pleasant hotel in the centre of Wellington near Parliament. The club rooms are as good as one might expect the clubroom fare maybe a little bit below par but that may have been because of the covid conditions in the country at the time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was our first stay at the Sofitel Wellington and we enjoyed it very much. We were welcomed at reception and the service in the bar and restaurant was also excellent. Dinner and breakfast were amazing- the eye fillet steak and salmon steak melted in the mouth! We will be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was in Wellington on business. The experience was excellent, from the moment I checked in. The rooms were beautiful and very comfortable. I ate in the restaurant for dinner - the food was divine. Loved the Club room too. Would highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hotel room was very nice. Opted for valet parking since it is hard to park safely in the area. Buffet breakfast is superb. Our room package includes Club Lounge with free unlimited coffee, tea and snacks
