When I entered the store there was a half price clothing sign at the door. When I reached the counter I was told (without apology) that my skirt was full price and that the lady had taken the sign down now...

Tryed to donate to this opportunity shop most items new..there was an older women who is belittling to people when they donate items. Refused to take a perfectly good dog bed and dog toys.also refused to take new items..WE HAVE FOUND ANOTHER ANIMAL SHELTER THAT IS OVER WHELMED AND VERY PLEASED ACCEPTING ALL THE ITEMS..THIS OLDER LADY THAT IS WORKING THEIR UNFORTUNATELY IT IS THE ANIMALS THAT U ARE TAKING THINGS AWAY FROM...I WOULD IMPLORE SPCA TO IMPOSE SET STANDARDS ACCROSS THE BOARD FOR DONATIONS TO SHOPS ETC..THIS IS AN INJUSTICE TO THE ANIMALS.

I purchased a bed setee last week. 2 guys dropt off today. Not only did they put the bed into the area I wanted it to go in to, but they were lovely, chatty, happy & nothing was too much effort. So please.. to these 2 guys a big thank you

I think the prices are outrageous. I use to donate regularly and shopped in there often however I'm disappointed with how much they are charging for goods they receive for free. Also I reviewed this store last week saying the same thing and it has been deleted. U should show both negative and positive feedback. That is how reviews work.

Target market for op shops are middle class to the poverty zone in the shop there was good and bad prices..example a kids scooter $30 hell noooooo but 50cents for kids books is a great deal.. willing to bartor definately would suggest shopping here depending on what you need as some items are overpriced others are a great deal.

This op shop raises money and it’s funded by the kindhearted generous people that donate (GIVE FREE) Pre-loved & used items. 100% of the profits go back to the store. Now don’t get me wrong, I think that’s great. However what I do not think is great, is the way they overcharge for the items they get for nothing! A lot of people, myself included, Live paycheck to paycheck, a lot of us have children and live on the poverty line. I go to op shop’s because of that reason & because I don’t want my kids missing out. Do these prices seem reasonable..? $15 for a Nighty!! No thanks $20 woman’s heels! Nope…Rip off! $8 for kids plain black pants! No way! And $8 for An open bag of tea light candles. Hell No!! The original pricetag when the candles were first purchased new was still on the packaging, it said “$5 & the bag was from The Warehouse!! Can you believe that!? $3 more for an open and used packet, when they can be purchased new for only $5! It’s verging on greedy & that’s very disappointing. & furthermore, if I had money like that, I’d just go to Kmart & buy it new! When I kindly mentioned it to the lady behind the counter she said “if I wasn’t happy, I should shop somewhere else!” I said “I’m just giving you feedback! We’re in West Auckland & like me, there are a lot of families that are struggling to make ends meat!” She actually SNIGGERED at me and shrugged her shoulders!! I couldn’t believe it!! I feel they have lost touch with what they are & should take a look at what they are doing!!! For now, I’ll stick to shopping at the Salvation Army, the staff are awesome & the prices are fair unlike this place!

Free donated items selling for a huge profit. Items are overpriced. Sometimes more then the cost of a new item. Boots (dress boots) chemically processed leather selling for $40. Bulk of the clothing is old and outdated with hefty price tag. While this is going to a good cause, not an excuse to rip your customers off. Pay $45 for a painting that someone did at home paint by numbers. Good cause, overpriced.
