β β β β β I have hypermobility syndrome and have lived in Auckland, Te Awamutu, Gisborne, Queenstown and Invercargill so have seen more than my fair share of physios in my life time and Sports and Spinal have to be hands down, no competition the absolute BEST!
I have had a few rehab programs over the past few years because of multiple surgeries and this is the first time I have not had to take a week or two off the program due to bad pain flare ups that left me bed ridden! The experience and knowledge Harvey has, has helped me improve so much over the past 2 months and I am extremely thankful! He has been so helpful, he has listened and cared and most amazingly has acted on everything he has said!! The only thing I regret is not living in Auckland after my surgeries because if I had this from the start, I feel like my life would be very different!! (My other physios were great and I loved them but its like finding Lindt chocolate after a life of Cadbury lol)
I have had hands on physio sessions with both Arliah and Nicola and both ladies are extremely amazing at what they do, they both make me leave my sessions wishing I could secretly kidnap them and take them home to fix me when my muscles go back to spastic hahaha (Please dont call the police, I'd never really do that lol) I have come in to the clinic with headaches, nausea and bad nerve pain and have left most times with my minimum amount of pain and this is something that had only ever happened ONCE before I came here!!
Rebekah on reception is totally awesome, after 1 or 2 emails she had all my sessions for the program booked and confirmed and if ever I have a problem or need to reschedule its solved, changed or rebooked instantly! Its super nice going into a clinic each week being greeted by someone who likes their job (at least thats what she portrays lol a lot of other places could use that!!)
All in all I cannot speak any more highly of this place and of all the workers I have had the absolute pleasure of being treated by! Sports and Spinal is a clinic like no other, the caring starts at the top and runs all the way down!
