As for one of the front counter staff.. If I have to wear a mask while you serve me I would appreciate it if you wore yours! Was very angry to see you disregarding the rules!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are going to stock Cricut machines and products, there should be staff on hand that know about it. Every time I go in for help, I get fobbed off that either no-one knows anything about them to the lady who knows about them is not here today! Time to upskill these staff please! Also the fact that you are understaffed is not your customers problem. If I come in with an issue, I want you to help me not give excuses as why you cant help me!

Wow we found both.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfriendly and rude staff. Getting told not to touch and feel the item out of bag because of covid. So ironic while there are thousands of fabric lying open in the store which is touched by everyone and so by her. A person spending money on fabric will obviously want to feel it that's why people visit store otherwise online shopping is always available.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Arts and Crafts/ Curtains/Sewing: Great place to shop at. Friendly staff. My visit turned out to be less stressful (choosing the right sewing machine) with the help of a nice staff member assisting me with good tips and pros and cons. I was walking around the entire display of machines until she must have seen me hahaha It's funny because I certainly wasn't laughing at the time. All in all, a good shop. Fairly large too so heaps of layout for all your home making needs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don't enjoy shopping here and only go to get something that is needed and unavailable elsewhere in Whangarei. It would be great if staff were efficient, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Most are far from it. One recently made a fuss before cutting some expensive material, asking several times if we could afford it. It was so rude but my granddaughter was so excited about making her next costume that I went ahead. On my last visit on Friday I purchased tissue paper that was advertised as a Hot Buy. At the counter it came up full price. I queried it with the assistant who said I must have misread the ticket. I replied that I was sure it was on special and the response was that I was wrong. I went back to the shelf to check and then took the assistant to see the sale price. It took an eternity to sort the refund and I wonder how many customers paid full price for tissue. It is very dishonest and I find it hard to believe that it's an accident as I've caught them at it before. Great way to increase your profit.
