β β β β β This was fine dining. 92$ for the six course menu. Which basically included 4 entrees items and a main (steak) with a dessert.
First had the tempura prawn 2 pieces and delicate with a nice taste.
Then came goat cheese and dogs. This was quite a strong taste from the figs and pickles.
Then came Ora king salmon which was slight sour but tasty with the salmon take some of the sourness.
Then came the sorbet likely from the dessert section. Quite sour as well but good for clearing the mouth.
Then came the steak which was perfect medium. However small in portion.
Lastly creme brΓ»lΓ©e. The custard was slightly not to the texture.
I also had a flat white which was rubbish more like instant coffee. 5$ Plz avoid
And had a virgin mojito. This was rubbish as well for 12$. Plz avoid.
The server was unfortunately a new recruit who struggled with explaining the dishes. However tried his best to make it up.
So for about 110$ with any alcohol. I was not impressed and would rate about 2.5-3/5 for taste and value.
Secondly it was a cold night and inside was really chilly. Had to ask the servers to get the fire going which was not even simmering when I arrived at 6pm. This was an easily fixable issue.
There r better fine dinning restaurants in Napier.

β β β β β I was really looking forward to the organic veg being the star of the show, unfortunately they were all uniformly too sweet and I battled to identify the individual flavors, the chardonnay was overly chilled when served too. The meat was perfect, the red wine was amazing, and the wait staff was very attentive.

β β β β β St Georgeβs went above and beyond to create the best day for our wedding. They sourced vegan wine and designed and prepared an entirely plant based menu for our guests. The food was amazing and presented in the most artistic way, our friends and family are still talking about it months later! Kathryn helped so much with all the details and ensured the day flowed perfectly for us. Kathryn and Francky you are both so talented at what you do. Thanks again x

β β β β β We had the most beautiful lunch here today. The food was delicious and every dish was so beautifully presented. The service was first class & friendly. Every dish presented to the table was explained. The wine selection was also exceptional. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

β β β β β Five stars all around. Lovely atmosphere, food and location. We enjoyed our time here this evening, and every single component of the meals were perfectly matched and cooked to perfection.
It is lovely to look out at the garden and see the produce being grown that we are eating.

β β β β β 5 Gold Stars...Absolutely stunning food. My wife and I visited with both our daughters ( 17 & 21 ) who were treated to a gastronomic delight served by the very capable and friendly Aby and Braydon. The starters we choose ranged from the Bostock Chicken , Salmon Gravalax and the Heirloom tomato dish all 3 were outstanding and visually stunning on the plate. We went gor a different main each my wife chose the Pork belly , my daughters had the Lamb rump and Organic Hereford beef and I chose the Groper which was market fish of the day. All were beautifully presented with accompanied veggies and pickles and lastly we could only manage 2 deserts ( we were full ) those were the Orange and saffron Creme Brule and Strawberry Meringue ( not like any Meringue mind you) and they finished off a perfect night of stunning food....if your in the Hawke's Bay this is a must place to visit only 20 mins from central Napier

β β β β β Celebrated my birthday dinner at St George's and their chefs 6 course menu did not disappoint us at all. All dishes were very tasty and colourful! You can adjust the tasting menu to your liking, which I thought this is quite nice. The best part was that most of their veggies served are all grown on their lifestyles. This restaurant is quite sustainable on its own. Had a super full tummy afterwards.
