β β β β β I usually enjoy their food and customer service. But not the last time I visited. We arrived at 5:30 on a weekday and the train was pretty empty only with a couple of oysters and 3 other plates of sushi. We waited for good 30 mins for the train to get filled up but nothing happened. When we asked the staff, she said the kitchen is busy and that we can order from the menu while we wait so we order 2 small roll because we still wanted to choose from a train of sushi. After a while, there was still no food on the train so we asked a different staff and she said that the kitchen is closed as they close at 7. We arrived there AT 5:30 and apparently the kitchen was already closed.
Why take customers if the kitchen is already closed? It was a big disappointment as it was our first dinner out since the covid-19 lockdown.

β β β β β Good variety of food. I love their crispy salmon rice ball. Very crunchy chicken katsu rice bowl is also very delicious. Takoyaki also worth a try. Healthy food recommended to all

β β β β β Delicious sushi and excellent customer service.
When I made a mistake when ordering online, was able to call and change the order and pay the difference on pickup.

β β β β β Ordered some dishes from the menu but wait for 40mins and yet not come through. I would like to give a zero out of five if I could. Itβs not my first time to visit them but this time was very disappointing

β β β β β Very tasty and fresh sushi that are made to order, presentation is great and atmosphere is also decent, but price wise it is not cheap, so can only recommend for the experience as once in a blue moon.

β β β β β I love Westfield Newmarket for shopping, but Sushi Train, very disappointing. Yesterday was my second experience and both times disappointed. We stood in line at the cash register waiting for one of two empty tables. Others walked straight up to the empty tables and were seated. Consequently we got sat in a corner on stools. The prawn looked good but on close inspection was sliced very thin as were many of the other ingredients. I wouldn't mind paying $7 for decent, fair servings, but for 2 clumps of rice and a slither of meat...would not recommend. So disappointed i forgot to take pictures.

β β β β β Conveniently located on level 3. Lots of sushi options. Always fresh. The oysters are great too when they get new batches in. A must go to spot if you are watching the calories. Just donβt eat the rice and you will be all good!

β β β β β Bento bowls for $15. Tried the extra cripsy chicken set, which was good but cold, like the chicken had been left out for a while. Also had the udon Noodle set with katsu, which was also okay/average. Tasted very much like takeaway food. There is a seat in option. Other menu items include miso soup, sushi, chicken on rice.
