★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I booked the room for 3 people, the room we got had Queen bed, single bed and sofa. The room was big, spacious, cleaned, comfy beds with nice and clean bathroom (toilet & shower). The other amenities in room were TV, microwave, fridge, electric cooktop and heater. The views from the motel is great (mountains & glacier), close to restaurants, stores and Lake Matheson, parking in front of your room. Overall a good experience staying in the motel with no complaints, humble host and plus cheap deal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not sure why we had to pay almost $150 a night when we stayed here last week (now showing as $89.00). For such competitive prices, we were expecting much better service, not someone who is non-English speaking trying to serve us at check in. I’m guessing they are parents of the owners who were not on site. They were not helpful when it came to explaining the washing and drying services (the dryers didn’t even work - and the service staff weren’t even around during the opening times like advised to assist - so we had to dry the clothes in our rooms ourselves). While trying to get change for the washing machine, the non-English speaking server at the desk also took more money from us then should be exchanged. I lost five dollars when I should have been given change for the five dollars. When I tried to explain, they just smiled and didn’t give me my money back. The room had very old stained carpet and a musky smell. We booked for 3 nights but only stayed for two. Such a rip off and I’m really disappointed because if they took greater care of the place, it would be such a gem given the mountain views and surroundings.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I suppose it is a sign of the times. We approached another motel in the town that had the open sign illuminated.
When we drove in the office was closed with a mobile phone number for contact. The person answering told us that that they "were not really open" and to "go to their sister motel"
We reluctantly ended up at this motel, and were given an off-season discount.
Ok location out of town, yes faces west, and just a peek of the mountains.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrible…smells pee in and around room. No air conditioning and it was sleepless night. They should have a staff with language knowledge 24*7 in the property. No air circulation at all. Flies are biting. Moscatos are singing. Totally disappointed.
Room alignment is totally wrong.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This motel was very reasonably priced and very well appointed. Modern large room, great view of the mountains, lovely staff with good local eating recommendations. Were also very helpful with recommendations for best glacier viewing opportunities and other local places to visit. Definitely recommend this motel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Clean & comfy studio room. Great spa bath units. Good heating. We love this motel, it is quiet & private with fabulous outlook towards the mountains.
Couch & TV both great. Room is large with good storage. Kitchen with hob. Bed very comfortable. Shower pressure is ok, not huge pressure, but the shower head is good. Very obliging owners.
Just be aware if you have a spa bath unit, the one next door is as well & the noise from the next door one is very loud & annoying & prevents early nights! We had our bath early at 8pm. The neighbours chose to use theirs til 10pm. ?
