★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The owners are lovely and helpful. The rooms are light and spacious with close proximity to Fox Glacier and Lake Matheson. Towel warmer, French Press, kitchenette, huge windows with amazing views...what a heavenly last night on the South Island!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful! We booked here on a whim as decided last minute to stay the night in Lake Matheson and I am so glad we did. The host was so welcoming and friendly and check in was a breeze. Loved the high ceilings and our room had everything we could have needed and the bed was so comfortable. Easy parking right outside which was a bonus and a short walk to town and quick drive to Lake Matheson. View of the mountains from the motel was a bonus and the owner recommended a lovely restaurant down the road to us where we had an incredible meal. But above all what really stood out was how clean this motel is! Honestly the most clean I have ever seen a motel!! Overall was excellent value for money and I wish all motels were this good. Thanks for a great stay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very easy booking process. Debbie is very welcoming & considerate, she had the unit very warm for us when we arrived & changed our unit so that we were next door to our friends. Our unit was clean & cosy, the bed was very comfortable & it is great to have under-cover parking. Her advice about sightseeing was perfect for us. We loved the colour tones in our unit too.
