★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing. Spotlessly clean and very large room with kitchenette and large en-suite bathroom. Receptionist lovely and helpful and special offer price was lowest of whole trip. An added bonus were restaurants & cafes were 2 mins slow walk away.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed two nights here in the kind studio, love the bright, cozy and airy interior, and love the white theme clean bed as well. We got everything we needed such as micro, fridge, dish soap, pepper & salt, toaster. Staff filled up the tea bags, choco, instant coffee section and cleaned up the rubbish bin in the morning of the second day, so sweet!! Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We arrived late because we had a big day travelling and had a breeze checking in, the place was tidy, clean with a big comfy bed. We also had a late checkout at no cost and are thankful to the staff for being accommodating. This is a good place to stay as the town is nice and quiet and is prior to Franz Josef which is a short drive away.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is adequate in every way. The room we stayed in was comfortable modernly styled and well presented. The check in process was laid back and literally effortless as the staff made us feel welcome before we even arrived. Having enjoyed a days trekking, we Sat back in the outdoor setting and casurely observed the way locals and tourists alike would embrace the recycling facility whilst leisurely relieving themselves at the public convenience stop adjacent the motel. It's fair to say a six foot fence would have denied us these delights but thankfully this was not in place to deny us such spectacles as we imbibed a few well earned Monteith's. I would happily stay here again.

The worst facilities in NZ, never seen such a motel like this. Every little things would tell !
Wifi is not working, you would search little signal within 2 metres from reception. If you stay in your room, no reception at all.
TV only has 2 channels, very poor.
Marks on the pillows and beds, all dusty around the room, smelly and very dirty. Pillows are flat and bed are really uncomfortable. Towel is broken and fluty. Fridge making noises the whole night.
No milk provided to tea or coffee, only two poor teabags in the room.
All Slogans inside the room to ask you not to do this, not to do that. Besides, ask you to turn off all the heater to save money although the heater is not working. You would feel how the host doesn’t want the guests to stay.
Weeds everywhere in the driveway or in the garden, no maintenance at all.
We really want to upload the photos for everyone to see it.
It’s a shame to see this terrible motel in such a beautiful town.
