Established in 2007 at our Woodward St location, we set out with a goal of providing the freshest sushi to the hungry citizens of Wellington.We don't do fancy eat in areas but we do have the most unique and authentic sushi merging traditional and contemporary flavours to create an authentic and unique menu which includes all your favourites alongside exciting new products that you won’t find anywhere else. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place has great variety and very reasonable price for fresh sushi. There's no seating available, but it's a really good take away option for days when you can only afford a quick lunch or would enjoy eating at the harbor. It's a rather popular place, but any queue tends to move super fast and you're always greeted with smiley helpful staff.

This place is basic in its appearance with its brushed steel, no frills kitchen. The staff were nice enough but not really friendly.
Sushi was nice but kinda average. Would drop in without fear of a bad meal but honestly, needs some love in there.
Lots of choice.

The best sushi I have ever had in wellington, price-portion ratio perfect, friendly staff, delish flavours.
The only thing I wish for is for them to be open over the weekends (willis street one is closed both weekends, Lambton quay one is open on Saturday but not during level 2).

Have been consistently coming here for years. Always fresh, and pause-for-a-second to savour it delicious.
Side note, a bit of a downer is recently that we saw one of the older staff fall on the metal floor and none of her coworkers tried to help her or take further precautions to make sure she was safe. Just left her on the floor to shake it off. Otherwise, insanely good sushi.
