★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a great time at the tahuna pod hostel, it is in a great location walkable from central queenstown, the pods were great and all of the facilities were clean. Our room was a 4 side entry pod room which our group filled however i don't think there would be a problem with sharing with other people as the pods are very private compared to a typical hostel bunk. We had no problem getting one of the free parks but it didn't seem like it was very full at the hostel. It worked great for us though. The soup and waffles mentioned on the website weren't there that we saw maybe due to covid, but there are many food places around with many delicious and some cheap options. The free ice bar entry was great though because it made it the same price as going to a normal bar for drinks but you get an awesome and different experience. Overall a very tidy hostel and friendly atmosphere. I would definitely stay again, thanks!!

Everyone is so nice and helpful. The kitchen is huge and the hostel is amazingly clean! Would 100% recommend if you're looking for a great place to stay in Queenstown. Plus very affordable!

Comes along with great deals, Free entry to ice room, special drink deals in partnered bars and more. Great place for individuals who seeks a bargain and also affordable price!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For me I will give this 4.5. Honestly, I love the privacy I have even it was a mixed room because, I was not able to see who comes in or comes out the room. The curtains helps you to have your own privacy with your own little space where you can charge you phone, put your stuff over head, and have you own light. The bathrooms are clean and tidy. The only thing I was looking was a hair dryer which I guess I missed out to read if there is no hair dryer provided on their description. Kitchen and living room is tidy as well. I love the scenery in the living room space. The staff are accommodating and friendly when I checked in. You just need to press the button if no one is around and please be patient to wait for any of the staff as some of the staff are doing multi tasking job where some people does not "actually" understand. So, overall, I will come back and stay in this Hostel Pod again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hostel need a renovation. The toilets and showers are too small, during rainy evening the ceiling in the corridor was leaking water. It could really be a beautiful hostel with a beautiful view.
Also especially now, in the toilet is essential to dispose paper towels instead of one hand towel used by everyone. If that's too expensive you can just put prices one dollar higher per day. A part from this, we had a pleasant stay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this hostel! Second time visiting and it is just as awesome. It's so close to town, walking distance to all the good stuff and bus routes to the airport. The pods are super comfortable and private. The curtains block the light so well I was able to enjoy sleeping in. It's so cosy I wish my own bed was like this ? Bathrooms are nice and clean. You also get some cool discounts at local places on your room key. The staff are great as well, I had a late flight and they let me store my bags and hang out in the common area after checkout to keep out of the cold. The single dorm beds are bunks, so probably best to check in early if you want to nab a bottom bunk! Thanks for the awesome stay, I always recommend this place and will be back.
