M	Mr. Campbell on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Walked as far as John Bull Gully. Very muddy and slippery track, quite overgrown in places. There's a couple of picnic tables and a nice swimming area at the John Bull Gully spot. Moderately challenging gradient, took about 1 hour each way.

D	Dee NZ on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is not an easy track however it has its rewards. We went from Henley carpark alongside the river. There was a small track down to a tiny beach with picnic tables. So scenic. After that however it is mostly uphill and inland. At one point a tree had broken across the track so we had to go around it. Once we reached the top through a pine forest area there was a nice seat to take in the views. You do climb pretty high! Then we headed downwards and some of the track was just a long mudslide! Finally at the bottom there is a boardwalk and views of the river until you reach Taieri Mouth and the ocean! Bring water and snacks and good hiking boots. Not much signage but track is mostly well maintained.

Not too difficult but definitely take water with you and food if you are planning on walking the whole distance. Not pram friendly but I was able to walk it with my 6 month old on my back. Otherwise a nice track
R	Romulo Nieva Jr on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a good walking track and also a perfect place for family walk with kids and dogs. You get to see amazing lake/river. It took us almost 3 hours to finish the walk (with return). Generally, it's a hard track as it's mostly flat but there parts that are steep. I will definitely recommend this.
