★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a surprise to have so much cool stuff in a small town. The chap that showed us around has been hands on restoring some of the old gear. He could tell us some of the background stories of some of the machines su h as the steam train they pulled out of the river.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ By chance we called in to have a look at what was on offer at this Vintage Machinery Museum. It was a $10 donation entrance which was well worth it. The chap there was very friendly and showed us around the various antiques that had been collected over the years as well as providing some insight into the local history of Te Anau and surrounding areas.
Would recommend a visit if you are looking for something to fill in an hour or so and have an interest in some vintage machinery and tools.
