We stayed 3 days and we really enjoye our stay there. We will definitely go back there if we go to Paihia again.
Beautiful, pure joy of being next to river while we were either resting in the lodge or swimming in the pool.
Homy breakfast while having friendly chat with the lovely hosts.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Te Awa Lodge is one of the most relaxing and beautiful hidden gems in Paihia. The atmosphere of this place is mind blowing and panoramic. The views are breathtaking and the sound of the river is refreshing.
Adilson and Martin with their two well behaved poodles Coco and Whitakers were the most welcoming and friendly hosts. The vibes from them is just amazing. You get a warm welcome and feel right at home right from the first day of your stay until your last day. We really enjoyed our time at Te Awa Lodge (Adilson and Martin) and would highly recommended this place to anyone travelling up north and looking for a place to stay. Trust me, you will leave the place feeling good and very satisfied with everything. The location is great if you don’t like to be in the busy crowded areas and it is only a short drive to the main part of Paihia, the facilities are immaculate and nicely decorated, the pool is relaxing and surrounded by a beautiful garden, the scenery is magnificent and on top of all the most amazing people you’ll ever meet, also it’s a bonus if you love dogs. We will definitely come back and this time we will bring the family so they can experience the amazing time we had at Te Awa Lodge. Again, thank you Adilson and Martin for being the great hosts, you both made our time in Paihia memorable ?.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a wonderful stay at Te awa lodge, the views of the river were stunning and peaceful , the rooms and gardens were immaculately looked after by Martin and Adilson, who were the most amazing hosts, friendly, genuine down to earth people, who you could find yourself chatting to all day, they really made the stay even more special for my partner and I. Would definitely recommend staying here. We will be back for sure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really pleased with the choice to come here. Recently spent three nights. Originally we were looking for a cheaper place and this was one of the less expensive options around. The view of the river is very relaxing and being away from the bustle of the town was nice, but it was also helpful to be a short drive from the town for the restaurants. The owners were super friendly and helpful and even cooked us eggs every morning - among many other awesome things they did for us. I would give this place a 6 if I could and if I do return to Paihia, I'll definitely be returning here. If you're looking for a nice relaxing place to stay, this is the one!

The room was perfectly appointed and the ambience sublime. Breakfast was delicious and expertly prepared. Do yourself a favour and book this experience as it’s not just accomodation it’s a total package not to be missed!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is our second stay at Te Awa Lodge and we are already planning to return. The place is amazing with a beautiful view of the river. The room is spacious, extremely clean and with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful. The hosts are very friendly and go out of their way to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Totally recommended.
