★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love this place but food service was very slow tonight waiting 40 minutes for entrees and over an hour for mains, excuse was only one chef on and busy restaurant on a Saturday! Staff were inattentive. Scollops heavy on strong cheese and duck overdone. Shame hope service improves.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We've drank at The Abbey a couple of times and it's always a nice atmosphere. We've been meaning to eat there but hadn't got round to it.
Last night we decided to go for dinner as a very last minute decision and we're so glad we did.
Absolutely gorgeous atmosphere, lighting and seating. Ann-Marie (Manager) was warm, energetic and friendly, even though both her and the chef have been working 7 days due to staff shortages/covid. Food was delicious (arancini balls, lamb shank and panko chicken) and cooked beautifully.
Thank you guys, we had a fantastic dinner. Ann-Marie, thank you for being a lovely host. We'll definitely be back! :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had another great relaxing experience with The Abbey crew this avo'. With a bus stop right outside to drop us off and take us home later plus great food and drink, it is a very hard place to beat.
