★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The venue is in a great spot. The food is interesting but not as good as it could be. There is something missing?? an easy atmosphere?? a warmth?? a welcoming sort of relaxing vibe?? It's ok, but I'll be looking around for something better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff very attentive but the two we dealt with were both not English language as their main language. Hard to understand with the surrounding noise. The surrounding was great with the children jumping off the wharf. A great place to have a meal out with friends. The fish dish was fantastic with the odd spices to give it the great flavour most enjoyable experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow what a fantastic lunch at Apple shed, when we are in Marpua we always usually have lunch at jelly fish but not any more, we love eating out and this lunch was up there, had the fresh Snapper which had this amazing sauce and crispy skin, added to that we had chips on the side and this amazing slaw salad with almonds. I never normally have desert but all 3 of us did and so glad, it was the mouse and it was delectable as was the crumble which I tried. Service was fantastic surroundings sublime and this will be my new go to Restaurant when visiting the area
Thanks for a great experience I would give you more than 5 stars I could not fault anything.

Waitress delivered it with half of it spilt out of the cup onto the saucer, and no apology for that and no greetings to us, and we received rude service from the waitress who took our order, labeling our table as "hippies" on the order docket, and our coffees took forever for our order to arrive.
Previously been here for dinner, it was delicious but over priced, the service then was good by a diligent and kind Latino waitress. The place itself has a great location but the bizarre layout of the seating means your blocked from sitting outdoors and having a good view of the wharf.
Would be great to see more veggie/ Vegan options on the menus.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a really nice lunch here on a beautiful sunny day. It's a busy spot but the staff did a good job of fitting us in, as we didn't book (but I get the feeling we were lucky and you should book). Our food was pretty good, some of the ingredients in a couple dishes were quite bizarre (king fish and salmon I'm looking at you) but not bad! Service was great, drinks and meals came out fairly promptly, and overall we had a great time!
