★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great venue upstairs in Mission Bay. Fish and chips were amazing - it just had a really good Fresh Salad on it, topped off by some nice fresh fish. Good range of tap beers and back bar. me and the Wife had a great night :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really recommend The Attic. It is rare to find somewhere to eat out where a Coeliac can eat knowing that seperate fryer is used and they are truly gluten free. Good on you! I was lucky enough to win a free competition and thought it would be the perfect opportunity to try some of the gf food. It was cooked very quickly, not long after they opened. I did enjoy that I could sit on the beach and eat fish and chips.. As a coeliac it's a kiwi experience I miss! I don't want to complain about the food as it was a freebie, but I was disappointed that the chips were few and mostly undercooked. There were 3 small pieces of fish that were very very oily but tasted good. The small pot of sauce.. Was warm and clearly hadn't been refrigerated as it was starting to seperate. Otherwise I was really okay with the whole experience, it was friendly and they're doing well on the GF front so I'd try them again for sure! When we get to level 2?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really good, relaxed place for a pint and a bite. A pub type vibe, but with good food and service on top. They have a nice happy hour (seven dollar prosecco, 5-7pm). I was keen for a spot out on the balcony but they were all taken when I arrived. The super attentive staff named it for me as soon as it became free. If you get the balcony table nearest town you'll have sun well into the evening.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My daughter and I had dinner at the Attic and the burgers were wonderful and the owner happy to accommodate my taste buds. It has to have the best view in Mission Bay, very friendly and helpful service, full bar and our burgers were delicious! The entrance is a little tired but well worth the stairs. We will be back!

The owners were lovely and went out of their way for us by decorating the table and reserving an area for us, which was outstanding since we were here on on a public holiday. The food was absolutely delicious and everyone was thoroughly impressed with both the service and the food. I particularly enjoyed the pork belly, which was cooked to perfection. The price per head was an absolute steal for the quality of food. I could not fault anything on the night and would definitely recommend anyone hold their function at The Attic. I will happily continue to support this local business :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place for dinner. They catered for our Gluten free needs extremely well and seemed to have a great understanding of cross contamination. Food was tasty and general atmosphere was excellent. Live musician was a nice addition we enjoyed.
