A team of creative thinkers and culinary go-getters, we are the curators of extraordinary dining experiences and exceptionally good times.
Established in Sydney and with a cult following Australia-wide, Pacific Concepts is a collective of unique dining concepts, ranging from casually chic to explosively fun.
With origins that date back to 1976, we celebrated our first international launch in Auckland, New Zealand in 2019. Our culinary journey now takes us further afield in Australia and to additional sites in New Zealand.
We’re on a rollercoaster ride and we’re taking adventurous gastronomic travellers with us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place started as an excellent restaurant, great menu, great food and drinks and nice service. Sadly this has been steadily going downhill.
The menu has gotten smaller, prices have increased and service has all but disappeared.
I always judge a place by a single criteria: will my drink arrive before or after food. Here sadly it’s always the latter. That is if you get served in the first place without waiting for 15 to 20 minutes.
I understand these are not normal times and prices will go up. But same shouldn’t be said for service. When you sit and wait while staff continue chatting and giggling at their stations with total disregard for customers you have to get up and leave.
Very sad but won’t be coming back

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thank you so much to the staff here! We came fairly late on a Monday evening and were turned away from other restaurants due to the time. We were a small party of 6 celebrating a birthday and engagement and happened to stumble upon The Bavarian. Without knowing we were celebrating these special events, the staff were all warm and welcoming. They all greeted us with a smile and would make their rounds ensuring we were happy with our food. The food and drinks were delicious and presentation looked amazing.
We will definitely be back! New favourite spot!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good customer service and drinkable beers. A great spot for catch up. However, the food taste way below average?. I am not sure if German food just taste like that. I might go back just for some drink but definitely not the food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very great restaurant in NewMarket. Went there with my family about an hour ago. They had amazing service and very kind waiters. The vibe of the restaurant was also pleasant surrounded by fake vines. The food was tad too expensive (but that is to be expected in these times). I had the loaded tacos and they were delicious. The nachos came served on top of a huge hunk of chicken schnitzel. The location was also in a good spot as well. It was at the very top of the mall. There was also a playground right outside for the little wee ones to play around. The only bad thing was that the toilets were outside the restaurant, but there was one disabled toilet inside. Also the mall was very confusing to navigate, but that's not the restaurants fault. I enjoyed this place and I hope to come back some day. Thank you!

Fried chicken was sub-par, not worth the $55.
Strawberry cocktail was too salty.
Cracking pork had nice portions, basic flavour.
The platter kind of disappointing as difficult to share, not much creativity.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fish and Chips was not too salty nor too bland but perfect. The crispy noodle salad dressing was also very nice. The lemon lime butter glass was humongous and we loved it. I will definitely visit again with my friends next time.
