However, we waited over 50 minutes for our food, the staff were rude and I struggled to find cutlery in the basket that didnt have remenants of food on them. With some work on efficient service and hospitality training this place could be pretty decent.

Another reminder of what “top notch” pub food is like. The generously sized steaks were cooked to perfection! A Big thanks to the host and staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stopped for dinner before travelling on to Dunedin. The burgers were huge..the chips crunchy and fluffy inside..the crunch chicken moist and tasty..a huge meal at a reasonable price! Praise to the chef..thankyou.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staying in Lawrence for the night we decided to call into the local pub for a drink. Though it was late afternoon we were surprised how quiet it was. We enjoyed our visit and would return again when next time we stay in Lawrence.
