★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing burger joint! Every burger is individual with plenty of yummy ingredients in each that go sooo well together. Don’t get these burgers if you’re looking for a plain old boring beef burger and don’t want to make a mess (there will be sauce everywhere, in a good way!)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My go to on Uber eats. I’m just so sick of Mcdonalds cos of my McDonald’s diet. But now I can eat a decent burger. Melted cheese, juicy patty and delicious sauce. I love being on mushroom while I eat their burgers. A sense of comfort everytime their burgers sit on my palate.

Saw the high reviews and had high standards...
These were not met
When we first stepped in, we weren't greeted by anyone. We had to go find someone to take our order, in which he is in the kitchen on his phone
When ordering, it seemed that the person there had never seen the menu before, he seemed very unsure of our order and he didnt know if Fries came with the Burgers or not.
We then we went to help ourselves to complimentary water, which was as empty as the restaurant. I see why the restaurant is so empty
There are also cables everywhere which takes away from the magnificent art on the wall
Food was very average
Will not be returning

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The takeaway burgers we got from The Flaming Onion Remuera looked nothing like what is advertised on their website and in the reviews. These burgers were definitely not "gourmet". They were stale, dry and flavorless. Had to add ketchup to the burger myself at home.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'd planned to try this place out several months ago but Covid lockdown got in the way. Now that we're in traffic light RED, it seemed an opportune time.
I had a Classic Beef & Cheese burger and my lunching partner had a Spicy Chicken Burger, both combos.
The food itself was quite edible but I struggle to rate it above some of the more memorable burgers that I've had. Examples being The Chosen Bun, Bacon Bros or even Ferg Burger.
I guess my biggest gripe was the staff member who not only took our order but also turned out to be the chef. During the order process, I told him we'd like takeaway. Why then was it necessary for him to pop his head out if the kitchen to ask if we wanted takeaway? Also when we got home, neither of us got aioli dip which was supposed to be included in the combos. Quite honestly, I wonder if English was his first language.
In conclusion, the food was okay but I'd suggest investing in staff members who have the minimum capability of delivering what a customer orders.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awful experience today 20 February 2022 around 7pm at The Flaming Onion.
After I asked to the employee if was possible to sit outside, I waited at least 30 minutes before I went back to the counter and having know that I should have order there and not one taking order (was too hard let me know it at the time i asked if was possible sir outside and watching me going to that direction?).
Nothing less, the table and chairs outside was really dirty and in general everything messy.
After that I tried to order 2 burgers without success because both of them had missing ingredients.
I never will go back there

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I doubt this place is gonna survive for long. I tried their chicken burgers and thought you could make better burgers at home and today tried their $14 lunch deal with beef and it looks like they have used some expired mayonnaise, it stinks and tastes spoiled and the salad was not fresh (there was barely anything in the form of salad). I don't usually give a lot of bad reviews but this was definitely a place you should miss.
