My Hubby and I ordered Sirloin Stk and asked for Med/Rare. In came out over cooked and when I pointed it out they offered to redo it. We both declined because it was tender .
Great dessert. Not the first time we have been and we will go back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Good Home has a very cosy, cute feel to it. It is nicely decorated and very well kept, they have many different types of food and drink on their menu and even gluten free/ vegan / vegetarian options! The staff were very helpful and friendly to us and got us anything we needed. As we went in the afternoon maybe the cakes and slices had already been purchased by others as there werent that many to choose from (however the ginger slice was delicious). One thing that could be improved is the hot chips were undercooked, thats all. Anyway, thank you Good Home for a lovely cafe experience!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The venue is fabulous and the service is very friendly and helpful. The coffee was good but the scones (made the day before) were not.
We sat in a comfortable corner with bench seating, but the 5 dead flies on the window sill were a little off putting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Usually come for a drink and something to eat after a lake walk. Always well looked after. Iced coffees are very good but take longer to arrive than food. Great that you can sit outside with your dog and admire the view. Have also been for meals inside and have been happy with the service and quality.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always enjoy my visits to the good home. Enjoy having a beer with friends or having one of their good meals. When we do our daily walk around the lake we often end up with a coffee or ice coffee at the good home. Depending on the weather we enjoy that outside or inside. Both locations give us the same pleasure. A big thanks to the positive and cheerful staff that make our visits memorable.
