★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was ok. My server didn't know what an "old fashioned" was, so i went with just a whiskey on the rocks, I received a cup of ice filled to the top with a smashing of whiskey. I asked for well done fries with my steak, she proceeded to tell me that, we fry our fries in oil so they are well done. Fries were not well done when I received them. Also I was charged for soda water.

2. Took at least 10-15 minutes to get a waiter for drinks - had to go and ask them to take out orders because it seemed like no one was going to come. They reported that it was because it was a very busy night but there were lots of empty tables.
3. Our food took over an hour to arrive (arrived at 6pm, food served at 7:30) . We were told after waiting for around 50 minutes that there was a function upstairs which was the reason - no one mentioned there would be an expected delay when we were ordering as we probably wouldn't have stayed given we had a toddler with us.
4. Most of the meals were not very good, I would rate the beef burger 2/10 (rubbery, dry meat, too salty and had undercooked bacon), and DEFINITELY, not worth waiting over an hour for.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Took mum here for lunch today, first time here, and I absolutely loved it. Staff were nice and friendly, atmosphere was nice and cosy, food delicious. Mum had the satay beef, I had the pork tenderloin ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service Immaculate, good range of drinks both alcoholic and non alcoholic. Nice menu at reasonable price. Recommended for a nice meal or drink. But as Pub to make a Local severely lacking in Homely atmosphere. Probably because it's a chain house and has limitations on operating style.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came to Good Home in Pukekohe as part of a group for Dinner on Tuesday and have to say the service was top notch. The Manager advised us upfront that there was a big booking coming and discussed options for getting orders in quickly etc. to avoid a delay. The table service was excellent as was the food. A fantastic experience with friendly and welcoming staff.
