β β β β β Our corporate team of 17 were fortunate to take part in the Great Escape adventure with Karen for our xmas event last December. We had such a brilliant day out β so much fun, I cannot recommend Karen and Destination Waiheke event highly enough! Karen organized everything seamlessly and was so easy to deal with, nothing was a problem for her. We split into three teams to take part in the great escape challenge, and then had a beautiful lunch at Mudbrick where Karen had put together a hilarious slideshow of our outing for us. We were even treated to some Americaβs Cup action on the return home which was very exciting. Iβm not sure how we are going to top this next year! We all had the best time, highly recommended to any other corporate teams looking for a great team experience.

β β β β β Wow! What a day. Our team went to Waiheke on Friday for our staff Christmas party and had a blast. We had lots of fun completing The Great Escape and loved the afternoon at our lunch spot, Three Seven Two! Food and service was brilliant. Thank you Karen and team for the great experience! A Christmas party to remember.

β β β β β I was organising our staff Christmas party this year and was drawn to The Great Escape! Working with Karen was so easy, she was efficient and did all she could to make it a really enjoyable day. The day did not disappoint!
The Christmas party ran so smoothly, the activity and lunch was a great mix of fun and relax. It was also a great way to see all of the island! Karen also thought of all the details and made sure we made the ferry on time... on the busiest ferry day of the year! Thank you Karen and The Great Escape team!

β β β β β We booked our workplace Christmas party with The Great Escape, and what an amazing day! Everything ran smoothly, and we finished with a lovely lunch at The Batch Winery (also organised by The Great Escape, which made things very easy). The activities we did as part of the Island Challenge were great fun and took us to parts of Waiheke many of us hadn't seen before.
Throughout the whole booking and organising process (which included rescheduling and a lot of last minute changes thanks to COVID-19), Karen was fantastic and very responsive to my endless questions. I would highly recommend The Great Escape for a fun day out on Waiheke :)

β β β β β A work team of 25 adults set out to Waiheke December 11th for our christmas dunction. Karen was so responsive whenever I had questions. With changes in covid restrictions, we were not sure if our function was going ahead. Karen told me all the things I needed to know and even gave us until the week before to allow us to cancel dependant on the Covid framework that was to be announced. Any little change I made, Karen was happy to accommodate. She is too awesome! And our team is still talking about the trip a week later. They all said it was the best work function we have had so now I am nervous to sort out a christmas function for 2022 haha..Thanks again Karen!!

β β β β β Karen did a fantastic job of organizing this event for my group of 18, with only a week's notice and in the midst of Covid. She was always quick to respond and helpful with transfers and insider tips on the island. My colleagues were definitely slightly apprehensive at first, but once we got going everyone had such a brilliant time. It was team building without feeling forced or awkward, which these things often can. The real highlight of this event was the flexibility that it offered, there was such a range of challenges that really encouraged everyone to get involved.
I would definitely recommend this event for any large group on Waiheke, it was the perfect way to see the island and have a lot of fun doing it. Thanks Karen for such a great day!

β β β β β Thank you for putting on such a great memorable team building event for us! We booked the great escape for our team Christmas party (45 people) and ended up postponing until January. Everyone had such a fun time, perfect mix of activities, the drivers were great and Karen was amazing to work with, every detail was covered perfectly and she was super responsive throughout us planning and rearranging. We will be laughing at the photos of this one for a long time and hope to come back again!!
