β β β β β Bloody epic experience. The staff are possibly the friendliest people in the world. We did the 30-40mins with landing on snow. Out of this world, a real must not miss experience. The pilot gave great commentary and was super friendly and just a genuine kiwi guy!

β β β β β Bloody Excellent!! Unfortunately the Tourism Industry is not happening atm and it's sad to see but on a plus side for us Kiwis it's a place were we have too ourselves and right on our back yard. #ExploreIt
Part of this was to do a Helicopter to the Glacier, a bucket list must do!
Also a surprise for everyone at the same time.
I saw this company online as saw they had a fantastic deal. Booked for 5 of us, knowing this is all weather dependent, we were super lucky and had incredible weather.
Booked the 30min flight where you get to see both the glaciers with a landing, and OMG absolute highlight and MUST DO yes it might be bit expensive BUT it's worth every penny!!!!! If you get the chance do it, as you won't regret it.
This company was super friendly from the last at Reception to the ground guy Will a young lad who was chatty and friendly to our tall Pilot Benjamin excellent job and our photographer when landing on the snow, and even helping my Grandma out who's 87 and still went up and enjoyed every bit.
Honestly this company - Thanks everyone The Helicopter Line definitely recomend 10/10

β β β β β We did a dual glacier helicopter tour with a snow landing from Franz Joseph. The weather is notoriously fickle and the team were awesome, they worked with us to ensure we got a flight in while we were in town even when our original scheduled time didn't work due to the pouring rain.
The flight itself was super smooth and the pilot was really friendly. These guys run a well-oiled machine! I would definitely go again, what an amazing experience!

β β β β β Was lucky to enjoy a spectacular day for a flight. Highly recommend this a one of the highlights of our visit in Franz Joseph. Our pilot expertly took us for a breath-taking scenic flight of both glaciers. At least once-in-a-lifetime must do experience, if not more! Thank you for making our day unforgettable.

β β β β β A must do in Franz Josef! Took part in heli-hike in Dec 2021, it was a breathtaking experience from start to finish & well worth the price (booked through bookme).
It can be hard to plan in advance as they are only able to confirm the trip on the day due to the West Coast's unpredictable weather
P.S. will be back one day to catch the elusive glacial worms

β β β β β I loved my day on the ice with Helicopter Line. Everything was really well managed, while the guides and staff were fun to talk to and made everything really enjoyable while making me feel safe throughout the trip. Got heaps of background information about the glacier and had a solid 2 hour hike on the ice with stunning weather that day. It's definitely a once in a lifetime experience, so I'd highly recommend doing it with those guys as they do a fantastic job! Thx!

β β β β β Wonderful experience!! If you have the confidence and the fitness it's 100% recommended to do the glacier walk. Our guilde Jon was very helpful throughout. It's a once in a lifetime experience, just loved every second of it.

β β β β β Unforgettable life experience! Hats off to the team who are friendly, instructive, professional and hard working(with all the early planning and preparations). We didnβt get to go very far on the glacier due to some group members were struggling a bit with walking on ice, so we had to move particularly slow, and I can see it also put a lot of pressure on our guide, who had to run back and forth to help those in need. Hope things like this can be better worked out in the future, maybe putting an extra guide in first timer groups?
