★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a lovely nail salon! I struggled for ages to find a salon that would accept a booking of 7 and the Nail Bar were not only able to, but made the whole experience so much fun for me and my family ☺️ Amazing quality shellac manicures - will definitely be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely love coming here to get my acrylics done every month. I've never had a bad set, and it's always done exactly how I want. Also always super impressed with how fast and efficient the whole service is. Staff are so lovely and I love that the place has a modern feel to it!

Had an appointment booked at 5 and I was late 15 minutes as I had trouble finding the place which is my bad of course but I was sitting there for 40 minutes with the foils on to remove my gel. As other people were getting their nails done they could of told me I’d have to wait but I just sat there for so long with no communication. Why let me book for 5 if you’re short staffed and busy and letting walk ins go before bookings, we can’t of all been booked for 5 if you had so little people working we could of communicated a different time to come in. Time is money to me aswell if you couldn’t give me the service I wanted and needed right then and there you could of told me so I could of left sooner

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been coming to The Nail Bar in Ponsonby since they first opened and have not been anywhere else since. The team that work there do such an excellent job and their prices are very reasonable. I often see Van and Camilla for SNS and both of them are so friendly and remember their regular clients by name, and what we spoke about the last time.
I've recommended The Nail Bar to all of my friends and everyone has been happy with their service!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got my nails done and few weeks ago, they look lovely! but was very disappointed with the communication of price - I felt ripped off paying $90 for a set of nail that I was never told that it would be $90 (I got acrylic extension with gel and french tip).When adding on the french tip I did ask how much this would and got the answer $68 so went along with it, unfortunately this was not the case with then having to pay an extra 22 for french tip. After another friend said it will cost more for french tip and me thinking that would be 5 - 10 dollars with her paying 85 for exactly what I got - I felt as a young student I was taken advantage of :(
After calling back as I was quite in shock, I don't think the staff understood my point. I'm writing this to ensure if you go here you make sure you have clear communication with them and double check the price as they have no pricing up :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome quality pedicures. Got the normal polish (not gel) and was nervous about it lasting but nails held up so well even with multiple weeks on the rock feet stuffed in small climbing shoes. Definitely found a new favourite!
