β β β β β Eric was literally our savior. When we got locked out of an airbnb at 11pm and couldnβt contact the host, he was the only hotel person we could get a hold of. He kindly let us book a room well after closing and even checked in on us once we were settled. The price was very reasonable and the room was comfy. The level of service was unparalleled and we will 100% be staying at the Park on our next Crossing attempt!

Great food in the restaurant and good sized pours from the Spiral Bar.
We did the 2 night package with Tongariro Crossing plus we added an extra night ?? And we will be back.
Being able to relax in front of the huge fireplace in the lounge was super relaxing.

β β β β β Really friendly staff, facilities are awesome, the food amazing with huge servings. Value for money, we did the $199 package deal and so worth it for everything you get. The shuttles pick you up right outside the doors. Pub within walking distance, great service there also. I will be recommending this to all my friends! Thanks for a great weekend. Spa is also great after the crossing.

β β β β β The staff were super friendly and accomodating. Unfortunately no buffet breakfast this time around as the chef was off with covid but they were still able to provide us with some good breakfast options. Happy to see staff were wearing masks. The rooms were cute and beds were immaculate upon arrival and very comfy. Coffee was awesome too. The spa was perfect way to finish a day of hiking.

β β β β β The booking experience was super easy. The rooms are compact & comfortable. However, one of the bed is placed right underneath the stairs and it's not the safest place for it. Suggestion would be to cover underneath the stairs. I understand they removed the kitchen facilities from the rooms for Covid reasons however they provided a kettle for tea & coffee so I don't see why they couldn't provide a microwave as well. The staff were friendly & welcoming. Overall, had an awesome experience with The Park Hotel Ruapehu.
