★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have stayed in some beautiful accommodation in both the North and South islands of NZ, but this was without a doubt our favorite place. Architecturally designed to make the most of the temperature rainforest and Lake Taupo views, this placed lacked nothing. Everything had been thought of from the obvious amenities such as kayaks and tennis courts, down to the smallest details, such as the fresh bowl of fruit and frozen ready to cook bread. The kitchen was clearly set up by a foodie as it contained everything you needed for self catering. The host was gracious, well spoken and welcoming. We will be back.

Great location overlooking the lake. Quite a distance from Taupo, past acacia bay, but the location and setting makes up for it.
Great living space overlooking the pool and lake.
Great kitchen, fully equipped and fit for proper cooking.
Our host supplied us with plenty of items from milk, butter, bread, cereals to eggs, bacon and lots and lots of fruit.
2 bedrooms are either side of the house, very nicely appointment and very spacious. Both with superb bathrooms.
Great pool with a hot tub.
Lovely walks through the private estate to some nice lakeside bays.
On a pricey side but worth it if you want to relax

We had 7 people and the accommodations were fabulous. we were there over Christmas and PEG was fabulous, she went to the grocery store as we arrived late to make sure that we had breakfast items and a meal to cook for the holiday. Our trip would not have been the same without her kindness and hospitality. Five Stars is not enough to give this FABULOUS retreat!!

If you are wanting peace and quiet, privacy and an escape away from busy life with beautiful surroundings,Forrests, flowers,birds singing and a beautiful view of lake taupo then this is the place to go you will not be disappointed.
