★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well appointed and situated retirement apartment complex. Adjacent to Smales Park bus station and shops, medical centre as well as North Shore Hospital.
Amenities include, information pool, gym, indoor bowls and cafe. Croquet court outdoors etc.
Some apartments have much better outlooks, and positioning for sun, than others.
Good quality food in the cafe for evening dinners on nights available is superb, although this has varied over time depending on current chef at the time.
Lots of community activities.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's one of many retirement homes popping up in and around Auckland; a certain same look about them. What happened to architectural inventiveness? Enclosing wall a stunner though. If you're going to buy, make sure a lawyer and accountant go through the fine details.
Located close to Pupuke lake and Quarry Lake with their lovely Lakeside park. Then again North Shore Hospital right next door might also be a plus ...
