★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spice room is a nice and cosy place to sit in winter and have a meal. The food was nice and tasty and served in time. The only reason I gave it four stars is that it is way too expensive. A plate of Biryani for 26$!!! That is a bit too much. Food and taste is good so if you have extra money to spend, you must give this place a try.

Was also very polite and friendly. Loved the decor of this place as well. Superb location - so close to lake wanaka. Slightly on the expensive side but definitely worth trying. Highly recommended !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best curry we have ever had, very generous portions, chicken and lamb sooo tender and fresh. Fluffy rice, excellent naan bread . If we were staying here another night , we would eat there again. Very popular place too, so make sure to book a table in advance .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super cozy place that have THE BEST VENISON CURRY EVER! if you're in town and want to get something a little on the spicy side, I think this is the place for you. Butter chicken for starters, but I highly recommend their venison curry. You can totally taste how fresh the meat is, and how good of a combination was that venison and the curry. It's like it was alive in my mouth. Anyways, very very delicious!
