★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is excellent value accommodation we rented for 2 nights for a group of us before walking the Rakiura track. The manager (Heath) picked us up from the ferry and dropped our extra bags back down when we left. The house is comfy and well set up for a group. The fire in the lounge is the heart of the place and was nicely added to by lovely views out to Golden bay from the kitchen table. It was a 15 min walk to town for the pub, blue cod fish and chips, and general store (Four Square) etc It is close to where the Ulva Island ferry leaves from (that's a must do).
