★ ★ ★ ★ ★ not really a good experience. i purchased the bike nov 4 and was told that i would get it next weekend and they would send txt but i was the one who called several times and nobody was answering amd finally was advised that today i would get a call in the morning so that i could pickup the bike.
again i was the one who called until i decided to just go to the shop as nobody was answering.
to my surprise the bike was good to go already.
very bad after sales.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super dissapointing, been a few times now and each getting worse. Came in for a hydroflask as they were the only place with the size and colour I wanted. Walked in and went straight to counter with the bottle and waited 10min to be even acknowledged I was standing at the counter. Many employees walked passed during this time and acted if they could not see me or my sister standing there, we were finally helped after this 10min with a few words of "have you been helped" we responded no and they processed the payment with no other words or an apology.
Go to the store in the Hamilton Centre!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I ordered 2 bikes and paid online via click and collect with collection point at Christchurch Northlink branch. The bikes were shipped from The Base, Te Rapa branch, and were delivered and assembled on time. However it turned out that they shipped the wrong colours for both bikes and the wrong size for one of the bikes - in short 2 wrong bikes. We didn't accept the bikes and were refunded but pretty disappointed with the lack (or absence) of commitment from the person who processed the orders.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very poor service, went in to purchase a gazebo but wasn't in stock. I got told the only way to purchase it was by going online and getting it delivered to the te rapa store. So I bought the gazebo but didn't get any notification that it had arrived. Went back 3 weeks later and they found it sitting at the back. The delivery slip said it got there 2 days after I purchased it so why wasn't I notified to come and pick it up?
Also had to stand at the front counter for 10 mins while no one noticed I was there. Would the staff there notice if someone just walked out with stuff without paying?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went into the Te Rapa shop looking at mountain bikes and found the sales staff to be quite helpful and knowledgeable - particularly Trent and Thomas. They helped me with a test ride out the back which I thought was good. I did eventually purchase a bike and some accessories, which they did for me at a good price.
