β β β β β Great little place in Featherston away from the yuppy cafe scene in the next town or two. Proper sandwiches, home made pies and a good cup of tea. Also good was the price and the friendly. Thanks we will stop here again. service.

β β β β β First time ordering from here and there was nothing wrong with the food at all. Ordered one scoop of chips 2 fish 2 hot dogs and a plain sausage. Everything was cooked well and excellent value for money. Generally when ordering a scoop of chips you get the bear minimum. We received MORE than enough and there where chips left over which is normally never the case!

β β β β β Good reasonable prices, family packs and deals. We have every now and then. Friendly and hard working staff.
Not one I'd rave about in terms of the best but a good clean, reliable and perfectly acceptable for quick feed.

β β β β β The cafe is nice and clean and they make great mocha. They also make full breakfast meals. I had the eggs benny and it was excellent! The fish and chips next door are also very good.

β β β β β After being a favourite stop before going over the hill it has declined and recently more so. A month ago they had no fish bites (my favourite) so I got a fish and my second favourite a spring roll. Fish okay spring rolls was so greasy the fat or oil dripped down my hand and clothes when I bit into it. But considering the standard of tonight's fish bites I should have saved myself the stop. They are nothing like they were 3 to 6 months ago. They used to be a lovely bit of fish with a light crunchy batter tonight they were a gluggy mess of gooey batter and spot the fish. I could eat them with all the raw batter. Yucky. I've given the place several chances but will now give up.

β β β β β Very disappointed with our takeaways tonight. The fritters were paua and seafood that we got were wafer thin. Crumbed fish was dry and over cooked.Tried a range of food from menu and very average. Won't be going back there again.
