★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My 12 year old and her friend visited your store today and were extremely upset by the way they were treated. They are both great girls who would never dream of shoplifting and were followed around during their visit and then asked to have their bags checked when they left and were very upset as they were treated as if they had stolen something which was obviously not the case. I note from other reviews this is obviously something that has happened before and really can put customers off from shopping particularly young people who it can scare. As a fellow retailer I would never dream of asking someone to check there bag unless I was certain something had been stolen. Will definately ensure we never return to your store.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bags? Why is it too much to give your customers a darn bag to put their overpriced toys into which they have just purchased? If it’s too much to take off your bottom line how about teaching your sales assistants to ask if you’d like a bag instead of the customer having to ask for one only to be told it’s 30c after they have paid for the items. Very frustrating! If Ardern didn’t ban plastic bags like a goof would customers put up with this level of service! Give paying customers bags or at the very least offer them a bag before they pay!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We are regular visitors to the new Lynn toy world with our 4 kids, they are always very welcoming and friendly. The staff really care about your experience and are really knowledgeable about the products. Even during level 3, serving out the front door, they made the kids visit special. Thank you guys!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst customer service ever. Wouldn't refund or replace a defective inflatable kids pool (less than 24 hours old) because "their manager is on holiday) and we have to wait 4 days . Rude/deprived of knowledge staff left to run the place

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do not go here… checked on their website for a product saying it is in stock however when going the lady said sorry it is out of stock. Also just noticed that they update their Stock on Hand regularly so really they aren’t professional enough to update their SOH or they just do not know what they are doing. Moreover, terrible customer service!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wanna buy a Lego toy but they only have discount in store not online. Showed in stock on the website when we go there the staff at reception said they are out of stock. Said they might keep some for reservations. I don’t understand why they didn’t update the website then they said it take 24hours. See the picture below, they only update the stock status on website 1 hour ago before I went there. Full of lies. Never recommended.

Really bad customers service, I guess the management has been changed and the guy behind the counter was really arrogant believe to be the new owner, the guy was keep talking in his native language which i found really disrespectful And the girl keep looking at us as we are stealing.
Need to change your thinking guys, we aren’t the thief.
I used to shop a lot over there.
It was my favourite Toyworld, but now it’s the worst Toyworld I been too.
Never gonna shop again.
Highly not recommend

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If I could, I would give it a 0. So me and my 2 daughters aged 14yrs and 1yr old just got escorted out of New Lynn Mall by a Red Badge security guard because we were accused of trying to steal something from their store after we couldn't find a birthday gift for my nephew (even though I had purchased an item from there before we left). So mad I have put in a complaint to their main office in hopes this gets sorted. How embarrassing to be accused of theft and escorted out of the Mall by a security guard with my daughters ? Racial Profiling at it's finest ? stick to serving customers not picking out who maybe coming in to steal toys ?♀️
