β β β β β We were disappointed with the food. High end prices set high expectations. As did the no kids meals and the small, focused menu but it fell short. The potato gratin was old and tired, the pasta average. Service is OK. Ambience OK.

β β β β β Came here for dinner and the food was really nice and genuine Italian flavours. However, the portions were disappointing for what you paid. I ordered an entree and a main meal which was a lasagna that looked more like an entree size. I then ordered a second entree after my main meal just to feel satisfied.

β β β β β Thanks for the awesome meal tonight! It was our first child free night in quite awhile, and we both really enjoyed our dishes. Last time we came was when you were still in Emerson St - the Seafood fettuccine was just as great tonight as I remembered it!

β β β β β No vegan options. The owner offered us fish when we told them we were vegan... We ordered the gnocchi with some veggies. As there wasn't any other option we could eat, we only tried that dish. Owner was disappointed with our order and made us feel unwelcome. Thanks God we only ordered one, the dish was overpriced for the size of it. The owner came to meal check us when we hadn't even tried it. Food was bland. They offered us water when we arrived, which arrived to the table when we had finished eating and about to leave. Hopefully they can get with the times, the place was quite empty when we went. We ended up going somewhere else to have a proper meal. All other places we walked by were buzzing..and it was only Thursday night. I really hope they can improve as the venue is lovely. The waitress that greeted us at the door was also really lovely.

β β β β β This place is fabulous! As a party of 6 we shared the garlic bread sourdough (that butter was incredible), the arancini balls, the bruchetta and the calamari- all excellent! I had the sage butter ravioli which was rich but delicious! The others in our party raved about the lamb rack, the fish and the lasagna. The gnocchi was also good apparently, but also very rich.
Desserts were all excellent, in particular the lemoncello tart & the homemade lemoncello liqueur was incredible! Loved the sign on the bathroom door too ?. Staff were friendly and attentive, no complaints from me! Would return next time I'm in Napier.

β β β β β Very genuine Italian restaurant. Ordered arancini balls and garlic sourdough bread very very tasty. Portion size was three pieces each. Mains was spinach ravioli and chicken fettuccine. Desert was a chocolate tart. Restaurants with few but select mains do a good job with the taste I guess. Good service and very tidy. Parking available outside free after six on weekdays.
