★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent proper Woodford pizza! The dough was ?? Easily the best we have had in NZ! We find it hard to find amazing pizza similar to what we get in Southern Italy! This is it! Friendly staff, gorgeous atmosphere off a little secluded strip of restaurants. We had the Napoletana (minus cheese) and the Sicilian. Don’t hesitate to come here & eat in or get takeaways! The pasta menu also sounded incredible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was here to celebrate a birthday dinner and wow our pizzas was definitely authentic, well made, cooked and tasted incredible. Was a little bit of a wait but it paid off. As we were here in winter, do recommend bringing something warm as we were outside and the heaters weren’t doing it for me. Great night otherwise

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our waiter went beyond all expectations, nothing was too much trouble, serving with genuine happiness. The gnocchi was sooo delicious. Also the rest of our vegetarian meal. I look forward to another visit to Havelock North so I can revisit this place and enjoy more of the delicious gnocchi.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best woodfired pizza I have experienced since coming to New Zealand from Europe.
It was nice to see authentic ingredients on the menu. The flavours were stunning and came together really well. The right amount of garlic balanced with the tomatoes was a delight.
Travelled here from New Plymouth and would travel back again.
Only thing that matched the pizza was the customer service. Banging restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a takeaway meal from Alessandros. Awesome service, very fast. Had the pizza focaccia, meatballs , lasagne and calzone. All were really yummy, good size meals. Will definitely be going there again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been to this place twice (once inside and once outside). Loved it both times. Amazing Neapolitan pizza, good cocktails, and great selection of desserts. If you feel like you can afford the calories, i would recommend Nutella Pizza as a desswet, it's amazing.
The place has a really nice atmosphere.
They do not take bookings and seem to be always full so I would recommend plan the visit before you get actually hungry, as you may need to wait a bit. You can do that sitting at the bar sipping on one of their Negronis.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good food. Good ambience. Would come back here for the pizza. The crust was just the right texture and thickness. We had the Neapolitan. A little too salty with the anchovies. My husband and I took some of them out but it might be a preference thing… I would prefer if the pizza didn’t have too many toppings. It makes it too complicated and too many different flavors going on. However, I was still pleasantly surprised by how the pizza bread turned out so I would definitely come back and try the other pizzas on the menu. Tiramisu was also not too bad. Most importantly, the servers here were very friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth the drive all the way from napier for dinner :)
