★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dreadful service since the lovely Corrie & John sold out to these incompetent, useless , unskilled people. Everyone who works their is just rude , which I cant understand , when this should be a loving, caring environment but its quite the opposite,. There is no care or 'heart 'at this Doctors anymore They have threated my family poorly The nurse Karen is shocking & shouldn't be in this role.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been going to valley medical since October 2018 . Based on my past experience with other healthcare around Henderson has not been pleasant ( which in a way I am grateful now as that landed me here ?) . I must say that everyone there is very welcoming and helpful. I have three children and sometimes I end up changing appointments last minute - receptionist and nurses have always cooperated smilingly ?. Always helpful in sharing information I need. My interactions with different doctors has been pleasant too. They are all very welcoming, respectful and responsible too. No waiting time if you take appointment. Overall great experience and I highly recommend it too ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I turned up for my appointment on time, however the receptionist wasn't at her desk. I then sat down and began waiting in the waiting room. After 30 mins of waiting, I went and asked her when my appointment was and if it would be soon, and she said I missed it and accused me of not turning up. After persisting that I indeed WAS there at my time, she accused me of lying and was incredibly rude to me. She made me reschedule for two hours later, disrupting all the plans I had already made. My mother later phoned the centre only to be rudely turned away, accusing me of lying, saying she would prove it using CCTV (which would reveal I was correct). Then she rudely declined a discussion with the supervisor. VERY disappointed considering my family has been members here for over 30 years. What has this clinic came too? Already enrolled in another centre. Thanks for rudely ruining my day, Sonja...

I have been going here since John Sumich and his wife owned it (they were the absolute best) since retiring this “clinic” has rotated through I can’t even count on my hands the number of INEXPERIENCED doctors and receptionist. On top of losing my records and arguing with me that treatments never happened. Telling me because I have PCOS I have no chance of getting pregnant ( which isn’t medicinally proven) I had a lovely call from a doctor who told me I have low grade cancer cells present, upon asking questions at this devastating news *through a PHONE CALL (not during covid season) she then proceeded to tell me “sorry I didn’t study that in my doctor training” … she didn’t study cancer apparently. Since this I have had zero follow up, referrals or anything.
I strongly recommend DO NOT GO HERE and this place needs to be shut down!
It’s beyond this world these people call themselves doctors when they lack simple patient care.
It’s HORRIFIC.
Please save yourself the time, stress, tears and heart ache and please find yourselves GPS that actually care for you and about what you’re going through. With also proper treatment and referrals.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I took time off work to take my grandson to see the doctor to obtain a medical certificate for WINZ to help him get work.
We arrived around 5 mins late because of traffic hold ups. Because we were late, she informed us the appointment was cancelled and he could not see the doctor. We had waited over a week to get the appointment as my grandson could not get one over the phone so I made one in person. (I noted the phone was busy at the time but she wasn’t answering it.)
No matter what I said, she ignored this and kept saying because we were 7mins late, no appointment. I was quite shocked, frustrated and angry. There was no one waiting. I walked out very upset about her inflexible, hardline position. I intend laying a complaint.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My family and I have been going to this medical centre for over 20 years. John was one of the worst doctors I’ve ever dealt with so I’m happy he’s gone.
A female doctor there for over two years didn’t notice I had a tumour even with telltale signs.
Dr. Jin has been wonderful with my oldest son, going the extra mile to help with seizure medication. However, when I called in extreme pain to get a script for pain relief (or appointment with the doctor), and to find out if special authority went through for my sons anti seizure meds and if we can pick them up, the receptionist Sonja was such a nasty piece of work! So disgustingly rude, inconsiderate and unhelpful, to the point she ended up causing me to have a breakdown. I was still recovering from major surgery. Then she told me that we aren’t allowed back there (because I accidentally said I’m in extreme f*n pain) even though it was obvious I needed help urgently.
My son needed his new meds urgently also as his seizures had been increasing in quantity and severity.
Today my mother took my son in to his appointment. She took time off work to drive him there. They were 7 minutes late, no one else was there except my son and mother, and that nasty receptionist Sonja told them that because they were 7 minutes late his appointment is canceled and they have no other appointments. He needs a medical certificate as he’s trying to get a job!
I am absolutely disgusted with Sonja. She needs to be reprimanded/fired. She has zero empathy, care, or understanding of patients in pain, with disabilities, and in need of urgent care. The way she dismisses people is horrendous and I feel a formal complaint to the DHB is in order.
