★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered a Luxe Bird fried chicken burger/$15.90 today at 12:40ish. When I got back to office and had two bites, I realized that there’s NO chicken in the burger ? Didn’t know what happened to 2 girls on shift in the kitchen today. It was not busy with just 2 other customers there waiting. Quite disappointed as it was my first ever experience with Velvet ☹️?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The pattie tastes like a cheap frozen stale Pattie with half the burger missing
The under side felt rock hard which wasn’t surprising since it was burnt to a coal
The chips could have saved the meal but were also stale
This was a shocking difference in quality to a few years ago

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came in store with a group of my friends for a BYO and I must say the burgers were beautiful, the patties were amazing. The chips were the best we've ever had anywhere. The service was fast considering there was a massive group of us. However, one female staff member kept going on her phone and going on snapchat etc while we were waiting to be served and we ended up waiting ages.
Thanks guys, food was amazing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I waited some time, to be served, while the man behind the counter was working on the till screen. Then once I placed my order for a lamb burger and skinny fries, there was another long wait. I got my burger and the waiter said he will bring out my fries in a minute. I had nearly consumed all of my burger before the fries arrived.
The food was good but the service, not so good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It seems like there was a great team atmosphere in here when I ordered my burger, they were quite busy but everything was humming along and service was faster than the predicted wait time. Food was very tasty but I found the thick chips a little underdone, that probably is more a matter of taste than cooking. Next time I'll get the skinny fries. I'd highly recommend for a burger.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We Used uber to order our dinner to home lastnight. We ordered 2x velvet lady. I wasn’t expecting such large burgers & Was far too large to finish and wasn’t too bad in taste. Loved the sweet relish. Would recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered 2 burgers and chips on Uber eats. Luxe bird was absolutely delicious. Nicely packed and tasted really good. On the other hand I had a babe burger which had a blob of aioli in the centre of the pineapple and my chicken pattie was over done. It was dry and hard and just did not taste nice. And there was only a small strip of bacon! The burger was nice without the burnt pattie.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice buggers and their Tuesday deal 2-4-1 is bang on for buck. I loved their King Saddleback burger (pulled pork), Big Bro (must try) and Queen go Peep (braised lamb) they all taste good, so is the Luxe Bird (southern fried chicken patty). I liked the buns in fact they're soft, fluffy and goes well with any patty. Also, the burgers are good in size that one would expect with a good pack size burger patty for that price with salad and sauce filling. Overall a good & friendly service with nice tasty burgers ??.
