β β β β β Pretty average meal. The three chilli indicator on the banging burger is way off. Not what I would expect for three chilli's. The crispy chicken tenders were pretty bland, lacking a bit of salt. Don't think we'll be back. Nice spot tho and staff are friendly. Good parking out the back.

β β β β β Very nice food. But please be careful. I ordered the chicken tenders (boneless) but nearly choked on a sizable bone.
Just make sure with little ones that there is no missed ones.
Other than that, fantastic flavour and service!

β β β β β Very disappointed with food tonight . We always recommended monster chicken after been there few times and went with colleagues tonight , food was cold , service was very bad. Booked a table of 13 @5;30 pm and cold food was served as quickly as we got there ( while still waiting for our drinks to be served first) , tried to speak to staff and when I asked for manager , a guy behind counter told me we got 3 managers at the moment (while just 3 staff were behind the counter) and explained him food is cold and nobody on table is happy with this food and service as we still waiting for our drinks and itβs not even busy here so not sure what these guys were doing . Felt embarrassed for arranging dinner at monster chicken . Guy was rude who I tried to explain the issue . Not helpful at all . Nothing was done to fix the issue (even 3 managers were on duty that time -as this guy said ), spent over $400 for cold food and bad service . Staff really need to get some basic customer service skills . Gosh

β β β β β Takeaway not worth $23 - Disappointed with little pieces of chicken and the smallest container Iβve ever seen for a salad or something, suitable for a 1 year old. Taste wise not as good as Iβve had in their church corner restaurant a few years back. No more takeaway from this place.

β β β β β First time in Christchurch and first time having Monster's fried chicken. I asked if the half order of bone in chicken would be enough for two people and was told the full order is better. The full order was way too much for two people. No worries though. We can eat the leftovers the next day. That was $41. Then, I ordered chips w/ sour cream for $9. I spent $50 on chicken and chips. There was a much cheaper option down the road in the diary. I wish I would have known.
I must say the original chicken I ordered was beautifully fried, but quite bland. I believe the flavored chicken in smaller portions would have been a better option. This is a learning curve, but overall not too bad of an experience.

β β β β β We got a monster platter and loved the Teri tenders but found the original crispy to be a little bland. They felt a little dry and flavourless. We ordered some extra LemonKist tenders and thought they were a little too sweet and citrusy. The garlic bread also could have used a little more butter and garlic but it did have a really nice consistency being soft and not too crunchy as most garlic breads tend to be. The customer service was alright but the Teri tenders more than made up for it. Overall, a pretty alright spot but would only recommend the Teri tenders for now ?

β β β β β Lovely service and not too busy. thereβs many options on the drinks menu. Strawberry milkshake was a bit overpriced at $9 but was still delicious. Crispy chicken burger combo was bussin bussin same with the sweet chilli chicken combo. would come again :)

β β β β β Delicious food! Four of us had the @1 Platter with some small sides and this was plenty to share! We tried the Chilli Maple Chicken and Garlic Bomb chicken which were both delicious, however the highlight was the Kimchi rice balls. I will definitely go back to try other items on the menu. Highly recommend!
