★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful views! When we arrived the receptionist wasn't so great, quite bland, no smile. She could really learn a thing or two about hospitality from the awesome restaurant team!!
We had dinner in the restaurant it was great. Our server Leila was absolutely the best, from making sure we had everything we needed to even playing with our daughter and taking her for a walk in her pram. Thank you so much Leila you are a superstar. The food was wonderful.
We enjoyed breakfast in the restaurant both days of our stay and it was awesome. Jade who looked after breakfast is also a superstar! Thank you so much for your hospitality and kind smile and for giving our baby a roll-up, it was all appreciated. The restaurant team hold a high standard!!
The room was nice enough but could use a deep clean, there was a strong feel of dust in the room which really affected our daughters asthma. If you have children with asthma do not stay here. Under the beds was foul, dusty and filled with rubbish. Our room was serviced and that left something to be desired, the beds were made but the pillows were just left on the floor. The towels etc were just dumped on a chair. Glasses weren't replaced just taken away.
We enjoyed our stay, we really liked strolling the surrounds of the resort and absolutely loved the restaurant and the team there!!
Your cleaners and receptionist are letting you down.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Way Overpriced for what we got, 700 for two queen beds squashed into a room that should of had one. Very basic fridge and kettle only, no sofa - tired furnishings and bathroom. Comfortable beds and pillows, and the service was good.

Breakfast, pool, room-condition were cost-efficient.
Remote/peaceful/good view
Amenities - adequate toiletries/mini bar (kettle,fridge etc working well)
good air-conditioning
Moderate wifi
Bathroom and bathtub were nice. Shower's water pressure was weak but tub filled fast. Ventilation was working well too.
We were brought extra towels and other goods by friendly room-service without having to make requests.
Restaurant staff were helpful and kind.

I read many reviews pointing out the underwhelming reception. Not mean or rude, just lacking the warmth or welcome that a holiday-goer would appreciate. Personally, a welcoming check-in or a caring check-out would have greately improved my overall evaluation and experience of the stay.
No kid- friendly facility other than the pool(which we enjoyed)
Cobweb with a dozen dead insects was not so impressive either.
On both days card key stopped working.
The dated facilities or absence of them are understandable due its good price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful spot overlooking lake with lots of special touches for relaxation, romance and family. Restaurant staff and food were lovely and children well provided for. Outdoor pool and spa were perfect for exercise and unwinding, even late at night until 11pm

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location, if not a little far away from the other places I needed to be in Rotorua, but the spot on the lake was fantastic.
Nice, clean rooms in good shape and the tubs are a nice touch. ??
Only one staff member was less than amicable and most of the staff were great, especially the young woman manning the morning buffet.
Been there twice and if I'm back in the area, I'd definitely stay there again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The 3 nights of stay we had was amazing. The room is spacious and the collapsable wall from the bathroom to the bedroom gives access to the stunning view out side the room. So you can have a relaxing soak on the tub while looking on a vie outside on a clear day. The place is quiet and have no hint of sulfur scent which is a good trade off from a 20min. drive from Rotorua city. Overall, will recommend to others and will plan to come back again.

The pool, spa, and sauna are a highlight and accessible for quite a large part of the day. Child safe.
The restaurant is nice with a good look over the lake. The eggs were a bit over cooked but the friendly staff compensated with some complimentary sausages and hash browns, which was nice.
The staff are accommodating and friendly.
The rooms are functional with a stellar view of the lake.

Staff at all levels were friendly, welcoming, and very accommodating of changing circumstances.
The main accommodation faces out onto the lake lined by native bush. Very idyllic spot with plenty of spots for good photo opportunities.
The double guest room we stayed in was clean, relatively modern and had all the expected amenities.
Covid protocols were well adhered to by all staff seen.
