★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice campground, all the facilities you need and also a washing machine but no dryer. The two guys in charge of the place are really good care of it. They keep it very clean and tidy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just a lovely spot to park up has everything you need dump station, shower and toilets,washing machine and a great outlook. Would definitely use this place again. Pooch friendly too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great traditional Kiwi campground. Scrupulously clean and very friendly. Right beside the sports ground so plenty of space for kids to run around safely, and there's a playground too. Nearest small supermarket is in Hawarden, a few km away. There's a walkway on the old railway nearby and a path over the hill to some Maori rock art. Highly recommend.
