β β β β β We saw vet Toni late one evening about our dog. Her attention towards him was above and beyond what we could have ever expected. She went through his blood tests and X-rays with extraordinary detail to us and made us feel we knew exactly what to do. Can't recommend them highly enough to anyone with a sick pet after hours.

β β β β β Thank goodness for Waikato After hours vets. Where else would we take our pets in times of great stress and trauma? My experiences there with our dog Luigi, have been exactly that - stressful.
The staff have been amazing. The vets making decisions and keeping in contact throughout the whole process. The vet nurses really care and look after him.
It's a tough shift they all do there, from 6pm right through the night. You guys are amazing, please know that ?. 5 stars.

β β β β β Thank you to the amazing team in caring for our beloved dog Lulu. It was such a heartbreaking decision to let her go. Dr Louise, Libby and Adrianne your heartfelt compassion and care was beautiful and we will forever be grateful for your kindness. Lulu passed away peacefully knowing she was loved and free from pain and suffering. We were also so blessed in receiving your handwritten sympathy card. Thank you so much. Love Craig, Lisa and Lulu x

β β β β β I think the team at Waikato After Hours Veterinary Clinic are incredible, without them my dog Poppy would not be here. She was subject to a dog attack and was critically ill when she arrived at the clinic. The staff pulled out all the stops to save her and were amazingly supportive to me through what was an extremely difficult time. I will be forever grateful for their efforts. They provide an amazing service to pets and their owners in their time of need.

β β β β β Don't ever use these vets as all they care about, is not your pet /animals, but money, can take your best friend to them an forget to take your wallet an all they will say is sorry u got no money your friend will die! So Wen did it become legal to murder your friends, I rate these people as money hungry tossers that don't care

β β β β β On Monday 11th April my dog got stung, My son took her in before 7.30am and they told him they could not see her as they too busy and were closing at 8am. Told him to take her to our own vets.
On Tuesday 12th April she was Swollen and really unwell and was seen by a vet called Raine (not sure on spelling) and he was great. Her heart rate was 220, so he did blood tests and she had low calcium and diagnosed her with gestational diabetes.
On Sunday 17th April she had whelped one puppy. Two hours later there had been no more puppies and she had a green discharge (which we had been told by multiple people and vets it was a sign to worry about). We rang them and the vet nurse told us it was normal and nothing to worry about bring her in and do a scan. We chose to use another vet service in Takanini instead.
