★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Waterproof shoes needed to get a good look at the falls, the path includes short walk across the creek, incredible views, gorgeous moderate walk there and back 30mins total, can go further and tramp different courses through the Bush too, one of my favourite places to see in the Hokianga!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stunning track. Not for the faint hearted but a beautiful roaring waterfall with plenty of native birds. A bit of a mission to drive to so make sure your car is well equipped.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place, a strenuous hike will take you up to the summit (at least 4hr return). The waterfall is a gentle 30mins return stroll.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went for a walk with my son. It was like an adventure. Beautifully maintained tracks and saw a picnic area under shade of trees. Beautiful peaceful surroundings and loved the experience.
Bit steep in places but worth the experience. Didn't do the whole trek due to my unfit state (I am over 60 yrs)
however I plan to revisit.
